I have been hearing some common myths lately from my online clients. One of them: “skipping breakfast means you are unhealthy.”

Wrong.

If you are not hungry first thing in the morning and the thought of eating breakfast creates stress for you, then don’t eat until later.

However, some people wake up hungry and feel stressed without it! In this case, eat it!

This is something you have to experiment with yourself. Skipping breakfast is one way of making it easier to cut calories but if that means you are starving come lunch time then don’t do it. You’ll end up stuffing yourself and feeling bloated which totally defeats the purpose.

Let go of the idea that not “eating it is unhealthy” or “eating it is going to make you gain weight.”

The conclusion is, you should do what causes you the least amount of stress and gives you the most amount of energy!

The best thing to do is experiment with both and see what works for you!
